As women, we work tirelessly to maintain our homes and families as well as flourish in our respective careers. So it becomes imperative to take care of ourselves to be healthy vis-a-vis our body and mind. 

Here are some tips to achieve the best version of yourselves.

Do not depend on supplements 

We often hear that taking supplements is essential after the age of 30, but I disagree. All you need is good, nourishing food and a healthy and active lifestyle.


Limit your intake of junk food

Don’t completely restrict yourself from eating junk food; instead, limit your intake. From my own experience, I eat junk food in moderation, and it’s a treat for me. I don’t regret eating it because I make sure to eat healthy food most of the time and then sometimes, enjoy my favorite meals.

 

Start your day with warm water and avoid sugar

My morning starts with warm water, and as a tea lover, I enjoy my desi tea, but I try to avoid sugar. It’s not a crime to have desi tea, so do enjoy what you like. Never put pressure on yourself to always follow a strict diet.

 

Fresh juices and fiber-rich foods are the order of the day

I try to drink coconut water, or you can have any vegetable juice, such as beetroot or carrot juice, or any other juice of your choice. It is also important to consume fiber-rich foods to maintain a healthy gut.

 

Soaked nuts and two dates a day are a must

Eat lots of soaked nuts and two dates a day. Try to eat soaked nuts or any other dehydrated food to help maintain your body’s water level. 

 

A simple lunch works wonders

Keep your lunch light and simple, such as dal and rice with lots of salads. Always start with salads first and then take your carbs, so that you limit your carb intake. Every meal should include protein. I never suggest protein powder; prepare your protein drinks. Females need to be happy and never starve themselves. Trust me, you will not put on weight and will always stay healthy.

 

Eat an early dinner to avoid bloating 

Dinner should be eaten before 7 PM, and try to avoid gluten during dinner. Trust me, there will be no bloating the next day. We have a wide variety of healthy ingredients in our kitchen that can serve as substitutes for the supplements people take.

 

Prioritize and achieve your goals

A woman should realize what her goals are and how to achieve them. She should have an excellent support system to support her and possess knowledge of both health and taste. All of this will keep her healthy and glowing.
